Biodegradable labels made with compostable self-adhesive material

From labelling to composting

Compostable self-adhesive material for biodegradable labels as a sustainable alternative

Two HERMA adhesive/label combinations have now been awarded the so-called Keimling (seedling) logo, as certification according to EN 13432 has been completed. The standard is the internationally recognised benchmark for the industrial compostability of biodegradable products. Producers wishing to use compostable packaging will finally be able to enjoy the efficiency benefits offered by labelling. In addition, there are two other HERMA adhesives that are certified for home composting (NF T51-800).
