Film-based label materials

Film labels for tough requirements and brilliant appearances

Films are increasingly becoming the first choice in label production for demanding functional requirements and essential visual properties. This is hardly surprising, as they not only guarantee exceptional durability, but also offer specific properties that are sought after in many industries, such as weather resistance, seawater resistance and chemical resistance.

For end consumers, marketing-related issues such as colour brilliance, gloss levels and UV resistance are particularly important. In addition, sustainability aspects are now indispensable – labels often have to be removable in the recycling process to enable the reuse of packaging materials.

Herma is the right partner for all these requirements – welcome to our new film plant!
