Application and use
The glossy surface of HERMA rPE white rv (857) with its corona pretreatment on one side offers an excellent print quality in conventional printing techniques. Before printing we recommend to freshen up the corona pretreatment.
This recycled film contains gel particles. These depend on the quality of the recyclates from the post consumer recyclate (PCR) collection and can thus vary. Depending on the size and shape of the gel particles, there may be variations in ink acceptance. It may therefore be necessary to adjust the printing and die-cutting.
This recycled film is also suitable for thermal transfer printing. Pre-testing is recommended.
HERMA rPE white rv (857) is perfect for the production of optically pretentious, glossy, non-transparent labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PE surfaces. The special look of HERMA rPE white rv (857) underlines its recycling design.
Thanks to the high flexibility of this material even curved surfaces may be labelled without any problems.
Composition of HERMA rPE white rv (857)
This recycled film contains approx. 50 % PCR Post Consumer Recycled PE. The outer layers are made of Virgin PE.
Our contribution to the environment
Recycled plastics are used for the production of this film. This reduces the use of new plastic granulate and recycled plastic material is converted into a new product through reuse. This saves valuable resources and supports the trend towards holistic sustainable packaging solutions. Recycled plastics therefore contribute significantly to CO2 rdeuction and thus to climate protection.
