Application and use
The surface of HERMAlaser opaque FSC® offers good printability with most inkjet printers and xerographic printing systems. We recommend preliminary suitability tests. The paper is of captivating opacity and thus particularly suited for the labelling of surfaces which have to be obscured. Applications include labels for file folders, CD labels and barcode labels in the logistics chain.
Water-based inks may have an adverse influence on the flatness of the sheet stock. We therefore advise against the use of water-based inks especially when printing large areas.
The pulp for this paper comes from FSC® certified forest management and other controlled sources.

Regulations concerning contact with food
The reverse side coating does not comply with the German BfR Recommendation XXXVI (direct contact with food).
