Over-Corner Labelling for Tamper-Evident or Seal Labels

Where labels function as seals, for example, on food products, or as tamper-evident seals, such as on medicines, they often have to be applied over the corners of the packaging. L- and C-shape labelling requires high levels of precision and security. HERMA’s product range includes various systems designed specifically for this type of labelling.

Top and Bottom Labelling with Variable Product Data

Cheeses and meats, as well as medicines and cosmetics often need to be labelled with an expiry date or list of ingredients. Top and bottom labelling is frequently used for variable product data. It enables products to be labelled with different data as they pass by.

Side Labelling for Packaging and Bottles

A large number of products, including cosmetics, bottles and cleaning products, require several labels and therefore have to be labelled from two sides. The side labelling systems from HERMA are designed for labelling products on both sides in a single step, in both semiautomatic and automatic processes.

Wrap-Around Labelling for Cylindrical Shapes

Our labelling systems for wrap-around labelling are capable of applying labels to rounded surfaces with maximum precision, while preventing spiral misalignment. The labels are wrapped around cans, ampules and other cylindrical shapes at high speeds and with great precision, without sacrificing on speed and number of cycles.

Not only must labels be applied to a variety of products with a range of different shapes, but the labelling process must also be quick and efficient. In order to achieve this, different types of labelling are required. With over a century’s worth of experience in the area of self-adhesive technology and more than 50 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, HERMA is a specialist and market leader for labelling machines that facilitate all types of labelling.
