What are labelling machines?
Labelling machines, also known as automatic/fully automatic labelling systems or applicator systems are complete solutions for all industrial labelling tasks.
Our HERMA 500 applicator forms the core component of all labelling machines. They also include a transport system to convey the products to the labelling station in which the labeller is used, as well as transport systems for forwarding the labelled products to the next machine or for removing the products.
These machines are designed for side labelling (one or two sides, as well as around-the-corner), wrap-around labelling (including positioned in relation to a specific feature), as well as top and bottom labelling and tamper-evident labelling of products.

HERMA’s labelling machines also have several optional features, including separation, alignment, stabilisation, review and rejection of individual faulty products, if necessary.
Today’s labelling machines must deliver precision, speed and versatility – for example, in terms of the print module used: in single, double or multi-sided side, top and bottom labelling or (possibly in combination with) wrap-around labelling. We offer labelling solutions for fully automated in-line manufacturing as well as semi-automatic systems.
We have a suitable labelling system for every labelling application, no matter how demanding. Innovative rotary discs, electronic digital displays, format sets that can be changed without tools for rapid format adjustments, as well as operation of the entire machine ensure that the overall system is as effective as possible.

Self-adhesive labels can be applied efficiently to all types of rectangular and cylindrical containers such as bottles, cans, ampules or vials as well as special formats such as pallets and cardboard boxes. The modular construction of every HERMA system with the state-of-the-art HERMA 500 applicator at its core and the highly practical settings cover virtually all requirements. M series HERMA labelling machines – The pinnacle of labelling
Speed and precision in a model of technical perfection: The HERMA M series is used for applications that require maximum productivity. As a stand-alone or in-line solution, it offers the highest degree of functional reliability in two-sided and wrap-around labelling applications.
The models in this series include the 132M, 040M (both for wrap-around labelling), 362M (for side labelling) as well as our solution for the pharmaceutical industry, the HERMA 132M HC, which is designed for the highest requirements and safety for healthcare applications.
