Personal information

By registering with us, you agree to allow your personal information to be stored and used in accordance with these rules.

We place great importance in the protection of your personal information. When you provide HERMA with your personal information, we intend to protect your privacy. It is important for us that you feel safe and at ease when you visit our internet pages. We naturally observe the statutory data protection regulations such as those of the German Data Protection Act and the Teleservices Data Protection Act.

We aim to continually improve our internet pages and make our offer more attractive for you. However, this is only possible if we know which contents on our web pages are visited and how.

When you access the web pages of HERMA GmbH Germany, general information is recorded automatically, such as the type of internet browser used, the operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar information. This is information that cannot be used to trace details about your person.

Your personal information such as your name, address or telephone number are used by us at HERMA for marketing purposes, for canvassing potential customers, customer surveys and for providing information. Your details will not be passed on to third parties. An exception to this are service providers commissioned by HERMA and third parties such as HERMA retailers. The information is only passed on to retailers if, via a link on the web page of the retailer concerned, you have expressly and directly accessed a request form for information at HERMA and if HERMA processes the information request.

As well as entering personal data, we use information about how you use our web pages in order to guide you as quickly as possible to information that you may find of interest. HERMA may change these terms from time to time in order, for example, to implement statutory or regulatory requirements or take changes in service functions into account. For this reason, you should take a look at these terms and conditions at regular intervals. You can find the latest version at www.herma.com. If you do not agree with changes in these terms, you must stop using the services.

Terms of use for free HERMA software tools

You can store templates that you create online using HERMA LabelAssistant free of charge on the HERMA server. In this way the templates will remain available for future use. However, HERMA does not guarantee this availability.

HERMA does not guarantee the availability or usability of software tools or the usability of data that you have saved online for your personal use. Nor does it guarantee the correctness and completeness of the displayed content.

Regardless of legal grounds, HERMA will accept liability only for claims arising from death, injury or damage to health that is culpably caused and for other claims due to intent or gross negligence on the part of HERMA. Any liability on the part of HERMA under the German Product Liability Act likewise remains unaffected.

Liability shall be limited to the damage that HERMA must have expected to occur when it made the software available free of charge.

HERMA software tools are being continuously improved and can therefore change in respect to appearance, technical details, content, etc. HERMA may therefore modify its software tools from time to time by adding or removing functions or features. In addition, it may turn off a service temporarily or permanently if, for example, it finds this necessary for safety, technical, economic or legal reasons. When you log in to the HERMA LabelAssistant online, we need certain kinds of personal data (such as your name, e-mail address and password for your account). We store this information on secure servers. When you visit HERMA for the first time, we send a cookie, which is a small information file, to your computer. The purpose is only to identify your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences, tracing user trends and monitoring users’ search methods. Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies. You can change the settings in your browser to reject all cookies or to show when a cookie is sent. But keep in mind that the HERMA LabelAssistant online will not work right if cookies are rejected.
