Print & Apply systems
The APL 4000 - designed for high-speed real time outer case labelling
The APL series is designed to print and apply self-adhesive labels with the use of a wide range of application units;
• Linear
• Tamp
• Corner-wrap
• Blow on.
The 4000 can be interfaced with a computer, on-line (Ethernet), or it can be easily integrated into a production line as a stand alone unit. It provides for real time Print & Apply labelling on to the top, side, front or rear of both stationary and moving products.
The system offers complete freedom of choice with regard to which print engine you would prefer to use. DATAMAX, SATO or ZEBRA print engines are all standard to the APL 4000, so you can continue to use your preferred print engine along with existing label formats etc. For example, the DATAMAX A-Class print engine which has been specifically designed for use with automatic applicators provides a print resolution from 8 to 23 dots / mm and printing speeds up to 300 mm/sec.
The APL 4000 is a robust and versatile Print & Apply system designed for the labelling of boxes, cases, shrink wrapped packs etc, with high levels of accuracy, flexibility and reliability. It is equipped with high quality integrated mechanics, pneumatics and electronics, and is suitable for use in the harshest of industrial environments.
A Print & Apply self adhesive labelling system for real time multiple face pallet labelling
The APL 8000 is a real time Print & Apply self adhesive labelling system which complies with the requirements of both the EAN/UCC-128 Application Identification Standards and GS1 International pallet labelling recommendations.
The system offers complete freedom of choice with regard to which print engine you would prefer to use. DATAMAX, SATO or ZEBRA print engines from 203 to 300 dpi are all standard to the APL 8000, so you can continue to use your preferred print engine and existing label formats etc.
Controlled by a PLC the system can easily be integrated into to all packaging lines using synchronisation and guided alarm signals. Easily configurable due to its versatility, it can be connected to any information system: Windows NT, UNIX AS/400, PC, etc. as well as ERP environments.
Equipped with high quality integrated mechanics, pneumatics and electronics the APL 8000 can print & apply a label on to a maximum of three faces of a pallet and is suitable for use in the harshest of industrial environments.
